In this project, I was tasked with developing a "collector" edition box inspired by the work of Janette Laverrière, which includes a booklet and a USB key. I also had the constraint of using the USB key as a locking mechanism for the box while ensuring its practicality.

Throughout this project, I had the opportunity to acquire a range of skills, including soldering, wood working, engineering, and plan design. When it came to elaborating on the details of my box, the most important aspect for me was to understand how the locking mechanism would operate. I aimed to create a locking mechanism that was both simple and effective, accessible to everyone.

For the fabrication process, I utilized materials such as wood and metal rods. Undoubtedly, the process involved in this work was time-consuming, but it proved to be worthwhile.

The construction of the collector edition box required meticulous attention to detail and precise craftsmanship.I carefully measured and cut the wooden panels, ensuring they fit together seamlessly. The woodworking techniques I employed allowed me to create clean edges and a polished finish, highlighting the elegance and sophistication ofJanette Laverrière's work.

Incorporating the USB key as a locking mechanism posed an intriguing challenge. I designed a mechanism where inserting and twisting the USB key would activate the unlocking mechanism, revealing the contents of the box. The choice of using a USB key not only provided a functional and secure locking mechanism but also added a modern and technological element to the overall design.

The manufacturing process demanded patience, as I had to solder the metal rods, test the locking mechanism, and refine it to ensure smooth operation. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the precise alignment of components, was carefully considered to achieve a harmonious and visually appealing result.

The effort invested in this project was undoubtedly worthwhile, as it allowed me to acquire new skills and showcase my creativity in developing a collector edition box inspired by the remarkable work of Janette Laverrière. The finished product is a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship involved in the process.

In summary, the development of theJanette Laverrière collector edition box involved the use of various skills, including woodworking, engineering, and plan design. The incorporation of a USB key as a locking mechanism added a unique and modern touch to the design. The attention to detail and precision craftsmanship ensured a visually appealing and functional final product. This project provided a valuable opportunity for personal growth and the ability to pay homage to the artistic legacy of Janette Laverrière.
